Mark Bertini - Keyboard & Backup Vocals
Originally hailing from Connecticut, Mark has played the keys for over 20 years. Instructed as a youth on clarinet and alto sax, he soon applied these skills to the piano while developing skills on rhythm guitar, bass and drums. Mark has performed in numerous original and cover bands throughout the Northeast and Capital Region such as The Almighty Frequencies, Good Foot, Road to Oblivion (as well as filling in with groups such as Rocking Horse and Jermaine Welles and the Ill Funk Ensemble). Noteworthy performances include sharing the stage with Wishbone Ash, and modern rocker Pat McGee and also showcasing at the world famous Bitter End in NYC. Musical Influences amassed over the years have include the likes of Prince, Beck, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, John Mayer, The Black Crowes, Marvin Gaye. All of these influences will be put to good use with Wylder’s incredibly varied and energetic set lists. WYLDER welcomes Mark and looks forward to making some awesome music with him behind the keys!!!
